Activities
he Institute has specialized in teaching French to non-native speakers since 1948. It belongs to the Literature and Languages Department of the Catholic University of Lyon. Being a part of a much larger university provides those enrolled in our Institute with a student status, a university setting and many opportunities for a quality education.
The Institute has been approved as an Official Examination Center for various French language diplomas which validate your French competences in daily or professional situations.
The ILCF is very experienced in welcoming foreign students and has the advantage of being located in the heart of the historical center of Lyon which is classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
